Meet Susan Nicholson

With more than 21 years at Carolina One Real Estate and over two decades serving buyers and sellers across the Lowcountry, Susan Nicholson has built a long-standing reputation for dedication, integrity, and steady guidance. Her career spans a wide range of clients and property types—from individuals purchasing their first lot to families investing in multi‑million‑dollar homes throughout the Charleston area.

Susan moved to Charleston in 1987 when her Air Force family was transferred to the Lowcountry, and the area quickly became home. She later met her “local boy” husband, John Nicholson, who retired as an Assistant Fire Chief from the City of North Charleston Fire Department and is now the owner of Onsite Home Inspection Services, LLC, working full‑time as a home inspector. Susan and John have been married for over 33 years and raised three sons—John “Clayton,” John “Luke,” and John “Michael.” Their family grew again in 2025 when Luke married their daughter‑in‑law, Nautia, who has become a cherished part of the Nicholson family.
