Michael’s love affair with the Low Country began years ago while on a vacation away from his Corporate HR career in New York. Walking along the coast he realized the sunsets are a completely different color here and couldn’t stay away! He loves the varying shades of the seagrass and listening to the call of the cicadas. Life is just better here, so he decided to purchase a vacation home in Mount Pleasant as an investment. Michael’s trips to Charleston became more frequent and he became involved with many of the festivals and local organizations, and as his life in the area grew, he decided to make the move to full time resident. He has been working on restoring a historic home downtown and is honored to be a page in historical Charleston’s story. Michael has extensive experience in contractual agreements and has been an active investor and property owner for many years, which helps him anticipate and understand the many challenges client’s may face. Michael’s exceptional customer service skills, keen eye for potential and elevated sense of style make him a strong partner when selling a property, looking for a vacation property or a forever home. His high level of integrity, polished professionalism, negotiating skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency will make this very important process an easy one. Michael believes relationships are more important than transactions and his deep roots in the community are an asset to sellers looking to sell a home quickly or assisting people transitioning to the area. He is always “in the know” of the fun happenings around town, new restaurant openings and many ways to get involved within the community. More than showing or selling properties, Michael will bring you to a local oyster roast, upcoming Steeplechase, a performance at Fresh Fields or the Spoleto Festival, making you more than a client - you’re a friend and neighbor. When not selling real estate, Michael enjoys hosting cooking classes and dinner parties, bike riding, listening to country music (Dolly Parton is an all -time favorite!), designing gardens and walking his Lagotto Romagnolo(an Italian truffle dog) around town. This is the most beautiful spot in the world, and he hopes to share it with you.
