Meet Meredith Baum Wirtz

For Meredith Wirtz, real estate is more than a profession: it’s a family legacy. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Meredith and her brother are third-generation real estate professionals. Her grandfather
and father both served as Broker of Record for the family business, Wilson Baum Agency, Inc., established in  1933 and still operating today.
Meredith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University before moving to Vail, Colorado, where she launched her real estate career as a  Broker Associate with Slifer Smith & Frampton/Vail Associates Real Estate. Working in the flagship office on Bridge Street in Vail Village, Meredith embraced the mountain lifestyle while building her expertise in
luxury resort real estate. During her time in the Vail Valley, Meredith also served as an on-site Broker Associate at Red Sky Ranch in Wolcott, Colorado, a luxury golf community developed by Vail Resorts featuring championship courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. It was there that she discovered her passion for on-site real estate sales.
In 2018, Meredith relocated to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, where she continued her real estate career before returning to what she enjoys most—on-site sales, where she serves as a Sales Consultant for the builder Saussy Burbank at SayeBrook in Myrtle Beach. Meredith often compares selling homes in SayeBrook to her years in the Vail Valley. “Once again, I’m not only selling homes, but also a lifestyle,” she says. “With its traditional neighborhood design, welcoming front porches, active social life, and close proximity to dining, shopping, and a golf cart ride to the beach, SayeBrook offers residents a vibrant coastal
