Meet Gia Lee

Gia, a Broker Associate with 12 years experience, was raised in Kansas City and attended college and graduate school in New York City. After early careers in acting off-Broadway and teaching at independent schools in NYC, she met her husband in Charleston on Christmas Day, 2007, and left the Big Apple behind for a sunnier, friendlier, less dramatic life in the Holy City. Gia specializes in neighborhoods not far from her home in Old Windermere, including Downtown, West Ashley, and James Island, as well as Johns Island, North Charleston, the Upper Peninsula and Mt Pleasant. Some of her favorite neighborhoods in West Ashley include Avondale, Sandhurst and Huntington Woods. Gia enjoys cooking (and eating!) Szechuan food with her three children, who attend Porter-Gaud and Academic Magnet schools, and with her husband, the cookbook author Matt Lee. She stays active running and is a regular at Holy Cow Yoga, and she's a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
